We are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our client’s team and contribute to their growing success .
Job Overview:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations across the North East of Scotland. You will play a crucial role in our supply chain and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our clients. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate a Class 2 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
– Load and unload goods onto the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
– Plan and follow the most efficient route for deliveries
– Communicate with clients and maintain a professional and friendly attitude at all times
– Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
– Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
– Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
– Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate loading and unloading of goods
– Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
– Valid Class 2 driver’s license
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 2 driver
– Clean driving record with no traffic violations
– Good knowledge of road safety regulations
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions
– Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
– Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary
– Basic computer skills and ability to use GPS navigation systems
