Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well-established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent hours and long term stability.

(Company will put you through your HIAB if you don’t have it).

Full time hours areMonday to Thursday:7:00am – 4:30pm,Friday:7:00am – 4:00pm.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Key Tasks

  • Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
  • Delivering roofing materials to various sites
  • Assisting with loading/unloading when required
  • Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance

Employer Expectations Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Good understanding of health & safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • HIAB certification preferred but not essential
  • If you only hold a Class 2 licence, the company will put you through your HIAB qualification
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous experience preferred but newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply
