Job Description

HGV Class 2 Driver Dayshift

Location: Bothwell
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Start Time: 05:00
Position: Full-Time, Ongoing

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Bothwell.

This is a dayshift role working Monday to Friday with 05:00 starts. You will be part of a 2-man delivery crew, delivering goods directly to customer premises across the region.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, reliable, and comfortable carrying out manual handling as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customer premises.
  • Work as part of a 2-man delivery crew.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Complete vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of drivers’ hours and transport legislation.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
