Class 1 Day Shift Multi-Drop Driver
Job Description
Burns Express is a long-established logistics provider with a modern fleet and a strong reputation across the UK & Europe. We are now seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Multi-Drop Drivers to join our team in Hillington.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Class 1 Day Shift Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering palletised freight across the Central Belt safely and efficiently, always representing Burns Express with professionalism. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering palletised freight throughout the Central Belt
- Conducting daily walk around vehicle checks and reporting defects via our app
- Completing required paperwork accurately and returning it to the office
- Following all company safety procedures and road regulations
- Using the company PDA for job tasks and updates
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or DD offences)
- Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant multi drop experience
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude
- Previous multi drop logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
