Civil/Structural Engineer – Defence Infrastructure
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Role: 2 days/month in-office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage documentation that supports Nuclear Infrastructure Design.
  • Justify and oversee design changes and concessions.
  • Effectively communicate design justifications to safety committees.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for Examination, Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing.
  • Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
  • Conduct reviews to ensure compliance and maintain integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HNC in Civil Engineering
  • Basic health and safety training
  • Training in nuclear safety case development
  • Civil/Structural Engineering experience, preferably within the UK nuclear industry.
  • Proficient in designing and assessing industrial and maritime structures.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Proficient in relevant design software and IT tools.
