Job Description

Midlothian Council invites applications for a Social Worker – Children’s Services Practice Team at 7 Eskdaill Court. This permanent role is 36 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with a starting salary at the first point on the scale. PVG clearance is required and the post is regulated work with children and protected adults.

Applicants should have a BA Social Work or DipSW and SSSC registration, and be prepared to pursue the Child Welfare and Protection Certificate. Closing date: 7 September 2026.
