Overview

Camphill School Aberdeen is recognised for its outstanding education, care and therapy services, enabling over one hundred children and young adults to thrive in an environment where they feel a sense of belonging, support and personal growth.
Following a period of growth and development, and with the current Chief Executive stepping down after twenty years of service, seven as Chief Executive, the Board of Trustees is seeking a new CEO to lead the School into its next stage.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead Camphill School Aberdeen as Chief Executive, guiding the organisation through growth and development and into the next stage of its journey.
- Represent the organisation with confidence to families, funders and the wider public; uphold and promote the Camphill ethos.
- Introduce and embed financial discipline; develop long-term strategies to ensure sustainability.
- Provide high-level leadership in a school and/or residential care environment that supports children and adults with additional support needs.
- Ensure the organisation’s continued success for the children and young people who depend on it.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Significant leadership experience in a school and/or residential care environment that supports children and/or adults with additional support needs.
- Demonstrated ability to steer organisations through development and change, implement financial discipline, and develop long-term sustainability strategies.
- Understanding of the Camphill ethos and the ability to represent the organisation with confidence to families, funders and the wider public.
