Job Description

Northern Marine Manning Services are currently looking for a Chief Engineer for our clients’ Hospital Vessel. To join around 10th May for a three month contract in Madagascar.

Experience Required

  • At least 24 months sea time as Chief Engineer

Certs Required

  • Passport
  • ENG 1/ILO Medical
  • Seamans/Discharge book
  • STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) – Chief Engineer
  • Malta Flag State Endorsement (CEC)
  • STCW Personal Survival Techniques A-VI/1-1
  • STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting A-VI/1-2
  • STCW Elementary First Aid A-VI/1-3
  • STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities A-VI/1-4
  • STCW Security Awareness A-VI/6
  • STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting A-VI/3
  • STCW Crisis Management and Human Behaviour A-V/2
  • STCW Crowd Management A-V/2(7) & Passenger Safety A-V/2 (6)
  • STCW Security with Designated Duties A-VI/6-2
  • STCW Medical First Aid A-VI/4-1
  • STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1 (other than Fast Rescue Boats)
  • Full Vaccinations – Hep A, B, Diphtheria, MMR, Tetanus, Typhoid, Covid, Yellow Fever
