Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan and Indian dishes to consistently high standards
  • Ensure excellent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control
  • Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with management to design and update seasonal and regional menus
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff in traditional recipes and cooking techniques
  • Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and proper storage
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while meeting service demands

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience, specialising in Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking methods
  • Strong understanding of authentic presentation styles and flavour balance
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high culinary and hygiene standards
