ROLE: CHEF
TYPE: PERMANENT
LOCATION: CELTIC PARK, GLASGOW
We are currently recruiting for a chef for our hospitality operation at Celtic Park, who will cater for matchdays, our restaurant and at events.
Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, this role will work alongside the kitchen team to provide a consistent, high quality and dynamic food service.
Key Accountabilities
- Follow and adhere to all food safety protocols and procedures throughout preparation and delivery of menus
- Maintain the required level of quality across all food preparation and service.
- Ensure the required hygiene standards and procedures are maintained for workstations, at all times.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all temperature records and cleaning schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge of all menus and ensure these are followed accurately and to the required standard.
- Assist with the delivery of all match day and non-match day services.
- Complete all relevant daily/ weekly recording sheets as necessary.
- Ensure food presentation standards are followed, as directed by the Head and Executive Chefs.
- Assist kitchen colleagues, where required, in kitchen deep cleaning tasks.
- Ensure all PPE and equipment are maintained to the required standards at all times.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Head and Executive chefs as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food, health and safety legislation.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues, across the catering teams.
- Actively participate in learning and development opportunities.
Experience & Skills
- Current Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (minimum level required).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a chef.
- Ability to work under pressure while delivering high-end food quality.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant food safety legislation.
- Ability to manage own workload and multi-task as required.
