HRC Recruitment is seeking a cook or chef interested in opportunities within care homes or sheltered units in Glasgow and its surrounding areas. The schedule will vary, catering to different clients needs.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality meals are served.
You have an awareness of food allergens and are able to adapt your cooking to different residents specific dietary requirements
Manage inventory levels and control food costs
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
What we’re looking for:
Experience working as a chef or cook within a similar setting, that involved catering to a variety of dietary requirements.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Confident working in a fast paced kitchen environment
Understand that the nature of the work requires you to be flexible across locations

The pay for this position ranges from 14 to 15 per hour. A PVG disclosure and a minimum Food Safety Level 2 certificate are required, but HRC will cover the expenses for these if needed.
