Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse / ODP to join the Cardiac Theatre Leadership Team within Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. The hospital supports NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, including the Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service, Scottish Advanced Heart Failure Service and the National Organ Retrieval Service.
In this role you will play a key part in leading and supporting the development and performance of a pioneering team of dynamic individuals responsible for the delivery of peri operative care for a range of complex Cardiac surgical procedures, Adult Congenital Procedures and all that the Heart Failure Service entails, such as Heart Transplant, Mechanical Support Programme and any complicated Cardiology/extraction procedures.
Golden Jubilee National Hospital has 20 theatres, 4 of which are dedicated to Cardiac surgery.
Peri operative nursing at the Hospital is known for a strong person centred reputation. You will work alongside the SCN to support and lead our dynamic Cardiac Scrub team.

Flexible working is required, covering on call rotas overnight and at weekends.
