Catering Assistant

Job Description

City Centre Cafe based in central Inverness is looking for a Catering Assistant for a one year contract, this role would start ASAP once a suitable candidate has been found.

This is a well known Charity organisation based here in Inverness.

The role will involve working as part of a small team, preparing fresh food, sandwiches, food on the menu and baking. Experience is required on the baking side.

Knowledge of kitchen operations, ability to think on your feet and take initiative. Well organised approach to work, be self motivated and proactive. Food hygiene certificate is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practice.

The hours are full time 37.5 – 40 hours per week.

Depending on experience but around 12 – 13/hr.
