Role Overview
The caretaker works within the Park’s facilities team to ensure that operations run smoothly. Day to day duties include general repairs and maintenance, setting up and clearing down event and meeting spaces, and maintaining high standards in toilets and public areas.
Shift Pattern
This is a full time role, operating on a four days on, four days off shift pattern from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm (averaging 35 hours per week). Occasional additional or night cover may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the Park
- Set up and clear down event and meeting spaces
- Maintain high standards in toilets and public areas
- Support visitor facing activities and operations
Requirements
- Experience in a caretaking, facilities or maintenance role, or evidence of strong practical skills
- Confidence to handle a range of repairs
- Positive, friendly and helpful attitude for a visitor facing environment
- Full UK driving licence
