As a Business Services Director you will:
- Act as the key Relationship Manager for a designated portfolio of clients, leading client meetings independently and managing all commercial aspects including raising and approving fees.
- Authorise and sign off statutory accounts, non statutory financial statements, and tax returns where legally acceptable.
- Establish and monitor formal performance objectives and departmental KPIs for all direct reports, directly managing their long term career development.
- Spearhead local business development initiatives, proactively building a network of professional contacts to generate new client opportunities and cross refer firm wide services.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Hold a full professional accounting qualification (ICAS, ICAEW, or ACCA) paired with a valid UK driving licence.
- Demonstrate extensive experience preparing non statutory, sole trader, partnership, and statutory accounts under UK GAAP.
- Possess a comprehensive, up to date understanding of core UK taxes, including Personal Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, and Capital Taxes.
- Exhibit a proven track record of effectively supporting, managing, and developing professional colleagues within a practice environment.
