Business Development Manager – MPS & Multi-Asset Solutions North UK (Midlands to Scotland)
Ideal candidate can be based in the North of England, Midlands or Scotland.
One of the UK’s leading investment firms is seeking a BD focused Business Development Manager to drive new growth across the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland, promoting a range of Model Portfolio Services (MPS) and multi-asset solutions to financial advisers.
This is a high-profile, client-facing role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, activity-driven environment with the autonomy to shape and execute their regional strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and deliver new business growth across your territory, targeting financial advisers
- Promote the firm’s MPS and multi-asset funds
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with financial advisers through regular meetings, events and strategic engagement.
- Work collaboratively with internal sales, investment and marketing teams to maximise regional impact.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide insightful reporting on activity and pipeline.
Candidate criteria:
- Proven success in investment sales or business development, within an adviser-facing role.
- Strong understanding of investment products such as MPS, multi asset funds or platform
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.
- A proactive “hunter” mindset – self-motivated, energetic and commercially astute.
- Level 4 Diploma or IMC preferred.
