Business Development Executive – Industrial Sector

Gi Group Glasgow Branch / Hybrid.

Salary up to 35k + commission and car allowance

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in Scotland, focusing on the industrial sector.

This role is ideal for an ambitious professional Business Development Executive with a passion for securing new business and fostering strong client relationships. As a Business Development Executive, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, responsible for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities across Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

– New Business Development: Pro-actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector. Develop and implement strategic plans to target potential clients and secure new contracts.

– Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Ensure a thorough understanding of client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

– Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and closing of deals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

– Reporting & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to the management team.

– Collaboration: Work closely with our Glasgow team, Central Sales, Marketing, Operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

– Proven track record in business development and sales, preferably within the industrial sector.
– Strong understanding of the Scottish recruitment market and industry trends.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
– Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
– Valid driving license, own car and willingness to travel as required.
