Location: Glasgow, Cambuslang, United Kingdom

Position: Bulk Driver

Contract: Permanent – 45 hours per week

Salary: £35,900 per annum

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Drive a Volvo lorry (less than 4 years old) to deliver goods on planned routes, typically 4 to 6 stops per shift.
  • Inspect vehicle and trailer daily, completing a defect report if necessary.
  • Load and unload cargo (cages, pallets, freight, stillages, and yokes) as required; scan consignments and operate pallet trucks when needed.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure on time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 driving licence.
  • Completed the required DCPC training hours or actively working toward them.
  • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and a commitment to safe driving practices.
