Breakfast Club Assistant – Queensferry Primary School
Salary: £26,205 – £26,525 (pro rated for part time and sessional). Hours: 5 per week, 38 weeks sessional.
Working pattern: Monday Friday, 07:55-08:55 (1 hour per day).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children while providing a healthy breakfast before school.
- Listen to children, stay organised and create a safe environment for their learning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good listener, organised and enjoys working with children.
- Food & Hygiene Training (or willingness to undertake such training).
- Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
Requirements and Checks
- Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Candidate must join the PVG Scheme or complete an update check.
- Overseas Criminal Record Check required if the applicant has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years; unconditional offer will depend on satisfactory outcomes of the PVG Scheme and Criminal Record Check.
