About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Restaurant Bartender to join a busy hospitality team in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities

As a Restaurant Bartender, you will:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Create cocktails using standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Verify customers’ ages to comply with UK licensing laws.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders and responding to guest enquiries.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems, including cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Help create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• At least 1 year of bartending experience (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Experience in cocktail preparation or brewing is an advantage but not essential.
• A Scottish Personal Licence is desirable but not required.
