The Role

We are looking for a charismatic, professional Bartender to join the team.

At Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa, the bar isn’t just a place to get a drink; it’s the heart of the guest experience. Whether you’re making a signature cocktail for a resident or preparing a coffee for a regular, you are the face of our hospitality.

What You’ll Do

• Craft & Create: Prepare a wide range of drinks-from cocktails and wine service to specialty coffees-with precision and speed.
• Host: Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, offering recommendations and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain Excellence: Keep the bar area pristine, organized, and fully stocked.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
• Compliance: Ensure all mandatory training and licensing training is kept up to date.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Bartending experience is essential, preferably in a hotel or high volume upscale environment.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of mixology, spirits, wine pairings, and beer styles.
• Vibe: A positive, “can do” attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
