Banqueting Chef Seamill Hyrdo Hotel Full-time
As Banqueting Chef, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our banqueting kitchen, leading a talented team to deliver high-quality dishes for large-scale events. You’ll work closely with our Weddings & Events team to ensure every occasion runs seamlessly, maintaining the high culinary standards our guests expect.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the banqueting kitchen team
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage food costs, stock control, and ordering
- Collaborate with Events and Functions teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
- Uphold food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
- Support Restaurant and Private dining food service where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience at Head Chef or Sous Chef level in a high-volume kitchen
- Background in conference and banqueting service would be advantageous
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent culinary skills with creative flair and attention to detail
- Confident communicator and effective team player
- Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
