B2 – Temporary Promotion – Assistant Finance Manager – Social Security Scotland

We are seeking a B2 Assistant Finance Manager on a Temporary Promotion or Temporary Level Transfer basis within the Financial Reporting and Planning Team. The Assistant Finance Manager supports Finance Business Partners in providing strategic accounting and financial management advice to senior leaders across the organisation.

You will support stakeholders in accurately forecasting future spending plans and producing the Annual Report and Accounts. You will also lead on the collation, analysis and production of financial information for Senior Leaders to support effective decision making around financial sustainability. The Assistant Finance Manager post will also play a key role in the analysis of business cases across both staffing and non-staffing areas.
