Role Purpose
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients with a proactive, high quality service
- Coaching team members on the job, provide constructive feedback and support team members with their development
- Effectively communicate with clients and the team
- Ensuring engagements are completed within agreed budgets and where they don’t come in budget, identifying areas of overrun
- Reviewing work prepared by other members of the team, ensuring that the firm’s quality control procedures and professional standards are adhered to
- Identifying technical issues through the audit work and identifying potential solutions
- Participating in tenders/proposals for new work as required
- Take responsibility for own personal development
- To work as part of the management team and lead initiatives as required
Experience & qualifications
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA)
- Experience of managing a client portfolio
- Experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues
