DescriptionThis role is an amazing opportunity to join a high performing team of experienced professionals in our Valuations & Corporate Recovery business. The Associate role is a hybrid role, based in our Glasgow/Leeds UK office and reports to Manager, Intellectual Property. This role will provide Intellectual Property services, focussing on sales of IP assets and IP-rich businesses for an extensive portfolio of Restructuring & Turnaround clients in UK and EMEA. Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions: Conducting corporate research and commercial due diligence. Participating in information gathering calls with clients. Identifying prospective buyers through market research. Communicating effectively with clients and prospective buyers via emails and calls. Creation of marketing collateral including sales teasers. Management of virtual data rooms controlling access to confidential information. Liaising with buyers to secure offers. Data entry and mining tasks. Attending industry events to develop relationships. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Work closely with our existing Intellectual Property team based across Glasgow and Leeds. Strong organisational skills. Capable of managing multiple assignments at once against tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Collaborative team-player & self-motivated with ability to work independently, including whilst working remotely. Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Strong analytical and research skills. Strong drive for results, bias for action with superior time management skills. Willingness to develop and further knowledge across the Intellectual Property and Restructuring/Turnaround sectors. Education & Experience: Bachelors’ degree in relevant field, including business, accountancy, law etc, or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous. Previous experience with intellectual property/restructuring preferred but not necessary. Willingness to learn is essential.
