Assistant Saw Doctor & Knife Setter – Sawmill Tech (Training Provided)

Job Description

Gordon Timber on Balblair Road, Nairn is seeking an Assistant Saw Doctor / Setter for a full time role. The position covers tipping saws, knife sharpening and setting on cutting machines, with training provided. Hours are 12:00-20:00, Monday to Friday, with a £14.00 per hour rate plus overtime benefits.

You will have a sound mechanical background and be able to work safely in a busy production environment, supporting the saw doctor and production team as needed.
