Eligibility

About the role
As the Assistant Admissions Systems Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day to day running and operational design of the admissions systems at the University. Working with the Senior Admissions Systems Manager and the Admissions Team within Communications, Engagement and Advancement, you will support development activity required by various stakeholders across the university. This includes managing the day to day processes underpinning the admissions systems, raising development requests, supporting the writing of specifications for system enhancements and testing development work prior to implementation.
You will have an analytical mindset, demonstrable experience in admissions processes, an eagerness to enhance the applicant journey and an awareness of functionality that would benefit colleagues. You will support the Admissions Team by reviewing and improving current processes and maintaining a clear audit trail of changes.
Working across multiple systems, processes and priorities, you will operate effectively in both project support and super user capacities. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders. You will collaborate with various teams to identify and address system requirements in support of the strategic objectives of the Admissions Team and the wider University.
About you
Ideally, you will have recent experience in admissions systems, having worked in an admissions team or scholarships, enquiry management or CAS compliance. You will have the skills to manage your own workload, especially day to day processes at peak times of the year.
You will have the ability to focus on a set of routine tasks, without distraction, and complete these in a timely manner. You will communicate clearly with the team, line management and stakeholders, translating between business requirements and technical specifications.
