Assembly Operator – East Kilbride
25,875 + overtime + bonus
Monday – Wednesday 7am till 5.15pm, Thursday 7am till 4.45pm
Are you confident working with your hands and have a good eye for detail? We’re recruiting for Production Operators to join a growing manufacturer in East Kilbride. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business at the heart of global technology manufacturing.
What you’ll be doing:
- The build and assembly of small components in the manufacture of specialised products
- Working to Standard Operating Procedures and build diagrams to assemble parts in line with required quality standards
- Use of hand tools, calibration equipment and heating elements to assist with the intricate assembly processes
- Working in a cleanroom environment whilst adhering to all associated Health & Safety processes
- Inspecting parts during assembly to maintain quality and consistency
- Supporting continuous improvement by suggesting ways to streamline or enhance processes
- Meeting production targets as part of a small, focused team
- Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a assembly or production environment with a high level of quality inspection / assurance
- Experience in a Manufacturing Operator OR a Build / Assembly role
- Steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good team spirit with the ability to work independently when needed
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and careful work style
