An established engineering company is seeking an Assembly/Fitter to join their team. This role will involve a range of workshop and site-based tasks to support the ongoing operations of a specialist systems department.
Hours:
Mon/Tues – 8am-4.30pm
Wed/Thurs – 7.30am-4.30pm
Fri – 7.30am-1.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will carry out varied duties, including but not limited to:

Supporting health, safety, and quality standards across all work areas

Completing assigned day-to-day workshop tasks within the relevant skill set

Receiving and managing incoming equipment deliveries

Assembly and installation of pipework and components (ranging in size)

Assisting with workshop organisation and layout

Travelling to client sites as required to support installation activities

Ensuring all company and customer safety and environmental protocols are followed
Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a workshop or similar hands-on environment
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
-
Good time management and adaptability
-
Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic

Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
