Asbestos Surveyor – East Kilbride

Location: East Kilbride, Scotland
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full-time

A well established UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an Asbestos Surveyor with around 2 years’ experience to support a growing workload across East Kilbride and the wider Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing surveyor looking to build on their experience within a supportive and well structured environment.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is keen to progress, gain further exposure, and work towards becoming a more senior surveyor.

The Role

  • Carrying out Management asbestos surveys across domestic and commercial sites
  • Assisting with Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys as experience develops
  • Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed
  • Producing accurate survey reports in line with HSG264 guidance
  • Managing workload across multiple sites
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams professionally

About You

  • BOHS P402 (essential)
  • Approximately 2 years’ experience as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of HSG264 guidance
  • Eager to learn, develop, and progress
  • Professional, organised, and reliable
