Area Sales Manager Industrial Measurement & Control Solutions – Scotland £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus = 10% of salary + Executive Hybrid / Electric Vehicle + Laptop + Mobile Phone + Company Credit Card + Pension + 22 days holiday rising to 25 with service + bank holidays.

As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for both the nurturing of existing accounts throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as self-generating and developing new business opportunities across the whole product portfolio including pressure, test and temperature instrumentation to a varied customer base within industry.
This will include producing quotations for customers; negotiating and closing sales by agreeing commercial terms; attending trade conferences and marketing events; creating and presenting technical product training and demonstrations to customers as well as provide pre-sales technical assistance.
The ideal person will come from a technical background, probably mechanical or electrical engineering and have 2-5 years commercial experience of working within either an internal or external field sales capacity and now looking for that next challenge or an opportunity to sell niche products / engineering solutions to industry.
To be successful in this role you must be driven, pro-active and hungry for developing new long term business relationships, with a focus around customer care.
