The Role
As an Architectural Technician, you will play an important role in the technical delivery of projects, working closely with project teams to develop practical, buildable design solutions. You will contribute across all project stages, coordinating technical information, supporting project delivery and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and consultants.
You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative design team, with the confidence to take ownership of your work while contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
This role also offers the opportunity to travel throughout the UK in support of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver projects through all RIBA stages with a strong technical focus.
- Produce high-quality technical drawings, detailing and specifications.
- Develop, coordinate and manage Revit models.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants and wider project teams.
- Support project delivery through effective planning and organisation.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- Coordinate and support junior members of the project team where appropriate.
- Contribute technical knowledge and best practice across the practice.
- Manage your own workload and resources to meet project deadlines.
- Promote the practice through professional project delivery.

Requirements
- Relevant HNC, HND or Degree qualification in Architectural Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body is desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods, detailing and building regulations.
- Good understanding of the UK planning and construction process.
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software.
- Experience working within BIM environments.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and work independently when required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK to support project delivery.
