Job Description

EduSCOT offers a Welder apprenticeship across Scotland’s shipbuilding, energy, manufacturing and construction sectors. You will start earning from day one while you train, with routes via Modern Apprenticeship in Engineering – SVQ 3 Fabrication and Welding Engineering (SCQF Level 6) and college paths.

No university degree is required; typical apprenticeship lasts about four years, with National 4/5 qualifications strengthening applications for maths, English, and a technical subject.
