Job Description
Overview
Sales Apprentice Opportunity in Glasgow. This field based sales role mixes office work with customer site visits. The position requires willingness to travel and will start in late summer 2026. The starting salary is £15,600 per annum with 25 holiday days plus bank holidays, and all equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients and key decision makers
- Generate new business opportunities
- Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and market changes
- Work alongside experienced sales professionals to maximise growth
- Master cross selling, upselling, and white spacing opportunities
- Gain firsthand experience in sales strategy, customer engagement, and territory management
Learning & Development
- Shadow industry professionals to gain real world experience
- Learn about cutting edge products and technology
- Assist in designing solutions, processing quotes, and managing projects
- Collaborate with teams across the business for seamless service delivery
- Participate in a Level 4 Sales Executive programme, combining college learning and hands on mentoring
Qualifications
- National 5 in English and Maths
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and work away, including staying overnight when required
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology and engineering
