Due to unforeseen circumstances we are re advertising this role. Unlock your potential in mechanical engineering with EGGER’s apprenticeship program at our Barony operation in Auchinleck, East Ayrshire. This full time role offers comprehensive training and on the job experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a comprehensive training programme at the Barony site and Ayrshire College on day release.
• Perform on the job training with a Shift Mechanical Fitter; shift work will be required.
• Complete and maintain all reports and records required for the SEMTA awards scheme.
• Liaise with the Mechanical Engineer in the repair and maintenance of all equipment on dayshift to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Self motivated learner with excellent interpersonal skills.
• 4 National 5 qualifications or equivalent at Grade C or above, or predicted, including Maths, English, Science and Technology based subjects.
• Basic standard of IT skills.
