Overview
An opportunity has arisen to join our small team supporting a single point of access for patients requiring the services of the Allied Health Professions (AHPs). As an appointments officer you will support the Fife-wide Musculoskeletal (MSK) Hub for Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Orthotics. The hub supports multiple clinics and waiting lists remotely throughout Fife and handles approximately 34,000 patient calls per annum. This post predominantly supports the Podiatry service.
Responsibilities
The post holder will support the smooth pathway of referrals, clinic booking and clinician diaries.
Qualifications
A pleasant and approachable manner, excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required. You should be educated to the equivalent standard grade or have relevant experience.
