An Analog IC Lead is sought by our expanding client – a premier global Semiconductor company with fantastic offices in central Edinburgh, overlooking Edinburgh castle.

In this role the Analog IC Lead will drive full-chip projects from specification to production ramp. In addition to being a hands on technical contributor, the Analog IC Lead will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of four engineers. This includes conducting performance reviews, holding regular one to one meetings, supporting individual development, and fostering a positive, motivated, and high performing team environment. The Analog IC Lead will play a key role in ensuring project milestones and delivery schedules remain on track through effective planning and coordination. With growth plans for the business, this position offers excellent opportunities for career progression and the chance to take on increased leadership responsibilities as the team expands.
Requirements
- A University degree in Microelectronics Engineering or similar
- At least 8 years’ of experience in analog IC design, with strong experience designing and verifying various analogue circuit blocks (e.g., amplifiers, oscillators, LDOs, comparators, power management or audio sub-blocks, for instance)
- Technical Team/Project leadership experience is highly desirable, however strong candidates interested in stepping into management also considered
- Excellent communication skills in English
