Overview
Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh / East Central Belt
Salary: £40,000 – £44,000 basic plus overtime and on-call payments. Van etc.
We are recruiting for a maintenance bias Air Conditioning Engineer to complete PPM’s and reactive maintenance on a mobile basis across the central belt of Scotland. Largely the Eastern and Edinburgh areas.
Responsibilities
- Air Conditioning Engineer description: You will be working within a team of engineers carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the facilities including HVAC / Air Conditioning / chillers etc.
- To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on splits, chillers, fan coils, AHU’s and all associated HVAC plant
- To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
- To provide compliance engineering on each facility
- To provide Air Conditioning and chiller maintenance
- To provide refrigeration maintenance
- To undertake minor installation works
- To complete general mechanical maintenance
- To undertake control works to HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
- To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
Skills & Background Required
- Qualified AC/Refrigeration
- F-Gas 2079
- PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Must be presentable and reliable
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Valid driving license
- Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
