Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
Job Description
The Adam Avenue Practice is based within Airdrie Community Health Centre and has approx. 10,200 patients.
Our practice clinical team consists of 5 GP Partners, 2 ANP’s, 1 Practice Nurse, Locality Health Board Pharmacists, a Locality CMHT Nurse, a team of Locality Occupational Therapists, a Locality Link Worker and access to Health Board Treatment Room facilities.
We are looking for an additional, qualified enthusiastic and motivated ANP to work along with our excellent and supportive practice team to maintain direct clinical care to patients. Experience with nurse lead triage is desirable.
Your main role will include clinical assessment, prescribing and clinical decision making.
The right candidate must have the ability to manage risk and potential conflict with excellent interpersonal/verbal communication.
Knowledge of Vision and Docman is desirable but not essential.
Working hours are negotiable for the right candidate.
We hold a general medical service (GMS) contract with the Lanarkshire Health Board (LHB).
