Job Description

GREAT WESTERN MEDICAL PRACTICE, SEAFIELD ROAD, ABERDEEN AB15 7YT


Working as an autonomous clinician, you’ll play a key role in assessing, diagnosing and managing patients with a wide range of acute and long-term conditions. You’ll work alongside experienced GPs, nurses, pharmacists and the wider practice team to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time.


What you’ll be doing


  • Deliver autonomous assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions.


  • Manage complete episodes of care, using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.


  • Independently prescribe where appropriate and contribute to safe, effective prescribing.


  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.


  • Support the ongoing development of innovative models of primary care.


  • Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement and the delivery of safe, effective care.


  • Provide clinical leadership and share knowledge with colleagues across both practices.
