Job Title: Administrator

Location: St Andrews, Fife – Hybrid

Contract Details: Temp to Perm – 3 months temporary first.

Salary: £12.75 – £14 an hour

3-5 days a week

Our client, a prominent hospitality organisation based in St Andrews in Fife, are seeking a highly motivated Administrator to join their team. As an Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining and organising various administrative tasks within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

– Database – Updating records with information and figures

– Gift administration – recording donations:

  • Gift administration – reconciling with bank accounts.
  • Gift administration – production of receipts
  • Gift administration – communication with donors

– Liaison with Prospect researchers

  • Liaison with Chapel & York and overseas payment providers

– Finance – Everyday management of philanthropy team database and budget forecasting

  • Administration of philanthropy invoicing/purchase orders
  • Administration of philanthropy team corporate credit cards
  • Travel bookings and reconciliations

– Secretary to the Advancement Committee:

  • Co-ordination of papers and meetings for overseas relationships.

Key Requirements:

– Works independently: Our client operates with a small team based in different locations. As such, the postholder will have the flexibility to work remotely and will not be required to travel to the main office daily.

– Great attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial, especially when handling gift administration processes. The successful candidate must possess excellent attention to detail to ensure the smooth execution of tasks.

– Ability to prioritise: The ideal candidate must be able to make decisions independently and recognise when it is necessary to seek guidance.
