Fife Council is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to provide front-line administrative support at Pitteuchar West Primary School. This full-time role offers £28,175-£30,691/year (FC5 scale) and involves managing financial and devolved school management issues, supervising clerical staff, and ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the school office.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational, IT, and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line administrative support as the focal point for staff and visitors
- Manage financial and devolved school management issues
- Respond to changes in IT systems
- Supervise and develop clerical assistants
- Ensure effective day-to-day running of the school office
- Work under the direction of the Headteacher or Admin Coordinator
Candidate Requirements
- HNC or equivalent qualification to SCQF Level 7 in a relevant discipline
- Ability to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland
Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- Administrative experience in a professional setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
- Experience in financial and office systems preferred
