Connect Appointments is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join an established business based in Broxburn.

Our client is looking for a reliable and organised individual to support their finance function across a varied role – with experienced team members on hand to provide guidance and support, making this suitable for candidates at various levels of finance experience.

What’s on offer?

  • Temporary to permanent opportunity
  • Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:30pm
  • 16.50 to 18 per hour – dependent on experience

As an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Managing sales and purchase ledger using QuickBooks
  • Processing payroll and RTI submissions using BrightPay
  • Producing profit and loss reports and balance sheets
  • Supporting the wider finance function as required

To be considered as an Accounts Assistant, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role – all levels considered
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and BrightPay is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
  • A reliable, organised approach to work
