Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Motherwell (Hybrid Working)
Salary: c. 30k (DOE)

Our client is looking for an individual with experience in full end-to-end Accounts Payable, who is competent in Microsoft Office and is looking for a challenge in and exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all communications into the accounts mailbox
- Handling the purchase order logs
- Prepare payment runs each month on time
- Prepare and process sales invoices monthly
- Responsible for credit control and monitoring the updates
- Undertake reconciliation including travel and supplier statements
- Handling petty cash
- Review contract financials for implementation of new projects.
- Take on other financial responsibilities and tasks when required
- Update and check over process notes where needed
- On the accounting software Xero, will set up new Direct Debits and Suppliers
Experience:
- Qualified accountancy by experience (minimum 3 years) or accountancy qualified (with 3 years minimum work experience)
- Track record of an excellent standard of work who needs limited supervision
- Organised and a strong communicator internally and externally who does not shy from new tasks and understands online accounting software
- A keen eye for detail with a methodical approach to processes
