Accounts Assistant
Alexandria, Loch Lomond
12.40 – 13.80 per hour

Temporary (3 months, with potential to become permanent)

Are you a bright and enthusiastic Finance Assistant or a recent Finance graduate looking for your next opportunity? This could be the role for you!

I’m recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly, down-to-earth finance team based in a vibrant office near the stunning Loch Lomond. This is an initial 3-month temporary contract to support a busy period – but there’s real potential for it to become permanent.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (35 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing:
Processing invoices accurately and efficiently, matching to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
Reconciling bank, supplier, and customer accounts to ensure clean audit trails
Performing cash ups and credit card reconciliations
Entering financial data into systems with accuracy and attention to detail
Handling accounts payable and assisting with payment runs
Managing finance inboxes, responding to queries and chasing as needed
Assisting the Financial Controller with regular reporting and flagging any issues
Carrying out general administrative and ad hoc office tasks as required

What we’re looking for:
Strong written and numerical skills
Ability to organise and prioritise workload independently
Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
At least 1 year’s experience in a finance role or relevant finance qualifications
