Accounts Assistant – Full-time – Livingston
Job Overview
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts assistant with particular experience of Accounts Payable to join their dynamic finance team in a leading UK manufacturing organisation. This may also suit someone who is very esrly in their finance career but happy to work in an Accounts payable role.
Key Responsibilities:
– Process supplier invoices and prepare weekly BACS payment runs
– Manage complex travel expense claims and timesheet processing
– Maintain accurate purchase ledger and supplier reconciliations
– Handle petty cash and intricate journal entries
– Manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in SAP
– Conduct comprehensive month-end financial reconciliations
Essential Criteria
Qualifications:
– Relevant Accounting qualification preferred
– Proven experience in financial administration and Accounts Payable in particular
– Strong background in manufacturing finance sector
Technical Skills:
– Advanced MS Excel and SAP proficiency
– Exceptional numerical accuracy
– Advanced analytical capabilities
– Robust understanding of UK financial reporting standards
