Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for targeted customers in the IBD sector
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and healthcare professionals in the IBD field
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives for assigned accounts
  • Conduct product presentations and therapeutic area discussions to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is conveyed
  • Collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer need to identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to healthcare professionals in handling product inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics in the CRM system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, NHS, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in IBD preferred
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage collaborators
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs and attend industry events
