Job Description

Murray Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our client’s successful team, covering the Scotland business region. Reporting daily to the Regional Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients, retaining current contracts, and up selling additional services. You will also pro-actively identify, verify, and secure new business opportunities with potential customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage customer relationships, ensuring quality customer service and achieving annual sales targets.
  • Negotiate new business deals and up sell services at desired profit margins.
  • Assist in mobilising secured contracts.
  • Collaborate professionally with internal stakeholders to meet customer needs.
  • Produce cost estimates, quotations and sales documents to the highest standard.
  • Minimise outstanding debt on managed accounts.
  • Maintain an accurate and valuable sales pipeline.

Experience / Skills:

  • Previous experience within similar Account Manager / Technical Sales
  • Ideally industry experience within the building services / construction /FM industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays if necessary.
  • Full driving licence.
