You’ll own a defined account base of around 100 business customers , building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and proactively selling BT solutions that help customers grow and operate more effectively.This is a hands on, phone led sales role where success comes from strong engagement, consistent activity, and ownership of your pipeline and targets. You’ll work with customers end to end – from relationship building and active selling through to renewal, upsell, and ongoing account management.Mid Market sits at a strategic sweet spot – large enough to sell meaningful, complex solutions, but agile enough to avoid enterprise level bureaucracy. You’ll have direct access to decision makers , faster sales cycles, and the opportunity to see real impact from the relationships you build.You’ll be trusted to run your own accounts, supported by strong, visible leadership , regular coaching, and a team culture that values performance, resilience, and collaboration.What you’ll be doingManaging a portfolio of approximately 100 mid market business accounts , acting as the main point of contactProactively selling over the phone , identifying upsell and cross sell opportunities within existing accountsBuilding trusted relationships with decision makers, often MDs or senior leadersOwning your forecast and performance, working to weekly and monthly sales targetsManaging your own CRM, pipeline, and time , with autonomy to run your account base effectivelyWorking closely with internal teams (billing, back office, specialists) to deliver for customersNavigating internal processes to ensure deals progress smoothly and customers have a positive experienceEssential Skills / ExperienceDesk based / inside sales experience with an account management backgroundExperience working to sales targets and forecastsOrganisational and administrative skillsComfortable managing CRM systems and internal processesAble to work autonomously , prioritising effectively and managing time wellResilient and comfortable navigating complexityDesirable Skills / ExperienceExperience selling into SMB or Mid Market customersTelecoms, connectivity, or technology sales exposureExperience managing customer relationships across the full lifecycleOur PackageTailored benefits make a real difference.
