Job Description
Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation & Maintenance) Mobile role covering commercial sites from Edinburgh to St Andrews Salary: £45,000 DOE + OT paid at 1.5x
Responsibilities

Carry out installation, servicing, and PPM on split systems, multi-split systems, and VRV/VRF equipment

Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs efficiently to minimise downtime

Work on chillers and refrigeration equipment where required

Replace components including compressors, motors, sensors, and control boards

Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations, Health & Safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines

Complete job sheets, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time

Maintain clear records of refrigerant usage and parts replacement
-
Liaise professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service

Support junior engineers and work collaboratively with the wider engineering team
Requirements

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)

F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
-
Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence

Proven experience within commercial HVAC and refrigeration environments

Experience with chillers, split systems, and VRV/VRF units

Skilled in brazing and metal component repair
-
Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
